Beth Kelly Nance, 71, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born on March 03, 1953 in Robeson County to the late John Kelly and Louise Everette Kelly. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Kelly.
Beth leaves behind her husband, Ernie Nance; sons: Eric Nance (Melissa Wilson Barnes) of Garland, Tim Nance (Carrie) of Dublin; daughter, Kelly Nance of Elizabethtown; sisters: Carolyn Lancaster (Woody) of Elizabethtown, Susie Baggett (Robert) of Rocky Mount; grandchildren: Everlee Nance, Leighton Nance, Blaire Nance and Kimberlin Barnes.
Beth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished the time spent with her family. She was an adventurer who loved to go fishing with her husband, Ernie at many different places. Beth also loved to decorate for holidays and other occasions. She was involved in the Women’s Missionary Union at Dublin First Baptist Church and loved her church family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends from 2-2:45pm on Sunday, June 23rd in the Dublin First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall with a funeral service at 3pm in the sanctuary. Pastor Jason Lee and Reverend Cameron McGill will officiate service. Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery off of Bethel Church Road in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dublin Baptist Church Daycare PO Box 187 Dublin, NC 28332.
