Bethany Dawn Davidson, 76

Bethany Dawn Davidson died on January 30, 2025. She was born on March 30,1949 in Gladwin, Michigan to Dewey Fruchey and Wanda Gaugh. She enjoyed cooking and art. She was a resident of Okeechobee for over 43 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Fruchey and Wanda Gaugh; and brother, Lee Fruchey.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Steven Davidson of Miami, Florida; son, Myke Davidson of Riverview, Florida; daughter, Janet Whidden of Immokalee, Florida; brother, Lee Fruchey of Rickman, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Quinn Davidson, Isabella Davidson, and Justin Whidden; and one great-grandchild, Riker Whidden; along with Jay Whidden of Immokalee, Florida and Alys Davidson of Riverview, Florida.

Receiving of friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home. Those wishing to leave a message of condolence may sign the register book at, www.OkeechobeeFuneralHome.com.

All arrangements are entrusted to the direction and care of the Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home, 400 North Parrott Avenue, Okeechobee, Florida, 34972.
