In Loving Memory of Bethlhem Degfe

June 28, 1996 - June 22h, 2025

Bethlhem Degfe was born on June 28 1996, in the Qera neighborhood of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to her loving parents, Ms. Mulumebet Ashenafi and Mr. Degfe. From an early age, Bethlhem displayed a heart full of empathy and a bright, joyful spirit. She began her education at Kids Flower Primary School and later attended Future Generation School for her secondary studies. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Adigrat University in 2017.

In 2018, Bethlhem reunited with her family in the United States, where her caring nature led her to pursue a career in nursing. Driven by compassion and a deep desire to help others, she dedicated herself to providing comfort and care to those in need.

Bethlhem was a cherished daughter, sister, and friend-beloved for her kindness, radiant smile, and uplifting presence. Her laughter was contagious, her sense of style effortless, and her gift for makeup and beauty unmatched. She had a special love for animals and found joy in caring for her three beloved puppies.

To her younger brother Natty, she was both a protector and best friend. To her mother, Mulumebet she was the light of life. Bethlhem's warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.

Tragically, Bethlhem's life was cut short by a sudden accident on June 22, 2025-just days before her 29th birthday. Though her time with us was far too brief, the love she gave and the joy she brought will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.

Bethlhem Degfe will always be remembered as a shining light-cheerful, compassionate, and irreplaceably radiant.
