Betsy Lovold Obituary
Betsy graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth, class of 1978. She was a member of Eagles Aire #80 in Superior. Betsy worked in the service industry at several West Duluth establishments over the years.
She was a sociable and outgoing person who had many friends. She played in softball leagues and enjoyed reading, playing golf, and staying active. Betsy loved her family very much.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Ray, Tom, Jim, Scott, and Linda, who offered Betsy friendship and care in recent months.
Betsy is survived by her daughters, Ashley Lovold and Samantha Lovold of Duluth; grandson Oskar Lovold; sister Brenda Gorder; brothers Clarence "Buddy" Gorder, Jr., Bradley Gorder, and Brent (Lynn) Gorder; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Billy and Frank Gorder.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Betsy from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Saturday May 24, 2025, at the Gopher Bar and Grill (402 N Central Ave, Duluth, MN 55807) in the upstairs banquet room.
