Bette Bowers Obituary
Bette is survived by her husband Jack Bowers, daughters Barbara Lyons (Gregg), Cynthia Courtright (Michael) and Pamela Taylor (Willard), grandchildren Chris Lyons, Lauren Jennings, Jonathan Lyons, Kristin Ward, Jennifer Blackmon, Michael Ryan Courtright, Bryan Taylor, and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bette is preceded in death by brother, Jack Kramer.
A memorial service will be held on January 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Brookview Chapel, Menno Haven's Brookview Healthcare Center, 1000 Northfield Dr., Chambersburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bette's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, https://www.alz.org/pa.

Bette Bowers was one of a kind. Very special and talented woman. She could accomplish anything she set her mind to.
She had 3 beautiful daughters, sang in the choir, worked for the telephone company and danced with the love of her life Jack.
I love her with all my heart. She took care of me in many aspects of my life and included me with her sweet family always.
I miss her but plan on seeing her again.

I was so very sorry to hear that Bette had entered the Kingdom of God. I can certainly understand when one loses a spouse and I am thinking and praying for Jack during this very difficult time.

I´ve known Aunt Bette for a long time. I have so many memories of her, but there´s not enough room.
