Bette S. Feiner, a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, at the age of 75 in Weymouth, MA. Born on May 27, 1950, in Springfield, MA, Bette was the loving daughter of the late Edith and Lawrence Felper. She spent her formative years in Springfield before finding her lifelong home in Weymouth.
Bette's heart was always full of love for her family. She was the beloved wife of Mark R. Feiner, with whom she shared a beautiful marriage of 50 years. Bette was a devoted mother to her sons, Jeffrey S. Feiner of Weymouth and Michael T. Feiner and his significant other Jazelle Derbes, also of Weymouth.
In addition to her immediate family, Bette was the big sister to David Felper and his wife Kim of Falmouth, MA. Niece of Sandy and the late Lenny Fleisher. Aunt to Andrew, Autumn, Scott, Brianna and Tony. Cousin to Faye, Amy and Eddie.
Bette's love extended to her "Grandpups," Buddy and Beansie, who brought her immense joy and companionship. She was a grandmother in every sense of the word, showering them with affection and treats, much to their delight.
Professionally, Bette dedicated many years of service as a school bus monitor.
Bette was also known as the neighborhood mom in Quincy Point, where she resided from the 1980s through the 2000s. Her door was always open, and her home became a second home to many. She was an avid Red Sox fan, and her enthusiasm for the game was infectious. Bette's spirit and passion for her team often brought her community together, creating lasting memories and a shared sense of camaraderie.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 7/18/2025 from 11AM-12PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday 7/18/2025 at 12 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
