It is with full hearts that we share the passing of Bette Lavon (Hanson) Grinde, age 96, of Richfield, Minnesota. Bette passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith that will be cherished for generations.

Bette was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her children Ron Grinde (Sherry), Sheri Hanson, and Rick Grinde (Carin), as well as many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and joy throughout her long and beautiful life.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James "Jim" Grinde and her grandson Donny Grinde. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory lives on in the stories shared, the traditions upheld, and the love she so generously gave.

Bette lived life fully and with enthusiasm-cherishing time spent with family, her many clubs and social groups, and years of traveling the country by travel trailer. These adventures and connections brought her joy and enriched both her life and the lives of those around her.

Bette's family will forever remember her gentle spirit, her resilience, and the warmth she brought to every gathering. Her presence was a steady comfort, and her absence will be felt deeply.

Celebration-of-life will be on December 18, 2025 at 6 pm at the Cremation Society of Edina. Those who knew and loved Bette are invited to hold her in their hearts and celebrate a life beautifully lived.
