Bette Watts Obituary

Bette was born July 12, 1938 in Alexandria, LA and passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 in Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her son, Darryl Lynn McLaughlin; granddaughter, Whitney McLaughlin; parents, Joe and Bertha Ball; and sister, Jean Aulds.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Aubrey Watts of Start, LA; children, Joseph Craig McLaughlin (Yukiko) of Bend, OR, Michael Sean McLaughlin (Jan) of Mobile, AL, Patrick Claude McLaughlin (Anne) of Wichita, KS, and Timothy Clay McLaughlin (Rhonda) of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Katie Baugh (Jimmy), Michael Sean McLaughlin, Jr. (Zara), Erin McLaughlin (Nick Johansen), Craig McLaughlin (Karina), Naomi McLaughlin, Nick McLaughlin, Shannon McKee (Brennan), Hannah McLaughlin, and Brendon McLaughlin; 7-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brendon McLaughlin, Michael Sean McLaughlin, Jr., Craig McLaughlin, Kevin Eppinette, Jeffrey Davis, Jason Davis, and Austin Davis.
Visitation will be9:30 AM till 11:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2025 at Crew Lake Methodist Church, Start, LA.
