Bettie Ann Holland Burruss was born on March 6, 1946 in Louisa Virginia to the late. She was one of 13 siblings having six (6)sisters and six(6) brothers. She is proceeded by her brothers John,Kenny and Charles Holland and one sister Patricia H Cooper and both parents Brodus and Treatie Holland in death.

Bettie attended AG Richerson school where she complete in 1963 during the school years is where she met Herman G Burruss who she married to that union two children . She worked at Louisa manufacturing for years and decided to start alteration and branch off on her own to Health started to fall in 2008 due to breast cancer. Would she beat it in 2009 in return November 2024.

She enjoyed taking care and enjoying her grandkids and great grandkids and family. Bettie had a strong Christian faith having an accepting Christ at an early age and become a member of Zion travels Baptist Church even through her face wasn't rarely seen it did not change her faith in Jesus.

Bettie leaves to cherish her husband, Herman Burruss of 60 years two children Herman Von and Emily Alcornia, similar also leaves beloved (5)sisters Susie Scott(Alfonso), Lisa, Sunday, Crystal, (Daryl)Holland, Denise Anderson(Frances), (2) brothers Kirk(Sharron), Clyde Holland, four grandkids Mario Burruss, Brendai Shelton, D'jon Shelton and Mia Harris (3) great grandkids, Kyianni Shelton Wahid, Layla Shelton and Carmela Burruss and a host of relatives and Friends. Sorry for submitted the family.

To the Burruss family, we at D. D. Watson offer our most sincere sympathy and condolences. Our prayer continues to be that your abiding faith in God will lend to you a measure of comfort that will strengthen and sustain you during your time of sorrow.

It is during such times as these that we draw upon our faith, stand upon our scriptures and rely upon our God. There is no question that in this and through this, God will keep you, comfort you and sustain you. You and your family are forever in our prayers.
