Bettie Carroll Obituary

Bettie was born on July 12, 1936, in Jackson County Alabama. Around the age of 14, she met the love of her life Wallace "Wad" Carroll, and they were married on August 8, 1952. Bettie was a member of Highway Church of God.
In addition to her parents, Levi Arnold and Bernice Arnold, Bettie was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Wallace "Wad" Carroll, their daughter, Reda Carroll, and Bettie's sister, Bobbie Mitchell and Kathy Precise.
Left to cherish her memories are her two children, Kay Shores and James "Danny" Carroll, her six grandchildren, Melissa (Josh) Whited, James "Cade" (Kelsey) Carroll, Tori Carroll (Colby), Clay Carroll (Faith), Levi (Maggie) Carroll, and Teia Carroll (Ryder) her three great-granddaughters, Kylie Whited, Adalyn Whited, and Rollins Carroll, and a great-grandson on the way. She also leaves behind her brothers, Eddy (Sandra) Arnold and Johnny (Melba) Arnold and sister, Freda Watson.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and Sunday September 21, 2025, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at WT Wilson Funeral Chapel in Rainsville, Alabama. Following visitation on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the funeral home, the funeral service will be held at 3:00pm at Highway Church of God and burial will follow at Highway Church of God Cemetery.
