Betty L Beasecker, 88, of Columbus, Ohio died November 12th , 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born September 15th , 1937, to Ernest Turner and Mary Oberdier in Marysville, Ohio. She married Gerald (Jerry) Beasecker on August 4th, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. She worked in the Worthington City School Cafeteria for over 30 years, as well as a member of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church and Fourth Avenue Christian Church. Betty graduated from Marysville High School in 1955. She enjoyed playing cards with her grandchildren, and activities with her friends. She is survived by her daughters; Diane (Jeff) Stein, and Debbie Zipf, sister-in-law; Jinny Turner, grandchildren; Sara (Nate) Spear, Amy Currier, Buddy (Kaleigh) Zipf, Chelsea (Chris) Payne, and Josh (Gabby) Stein, and great-grandchildren; Kaleigh, Chloe, Carly, Callie, Jaxson, Boden, Lorelai, Henry and Hailey . She is preceded in death by parents; Ernest (Willie) Turner, and Mary Oberdier, husband; Gerald (Jerry) Beasecker, son; David Beasecker, brother; Jack Turner, and son-in-law; Carl Zipf III. A first visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th from 2-4pm with a second visitation from 6-8pm at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home at 515 High Street. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 20th at 10am with burial to follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Research Association at 225 N Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601, or at www.alz.org/research
