Betty Lou Burton, lovingly known as Betty Boop, was a vibrant beam of light in the lives of those fortunate enough to share in her journey. Born on June 10, 1939, in Ogden, Utah, Betty's life was a testament to the virtues of reliability and spiritedness. Her radiant energy and enduring resilience will be remembered by all who knew her. Betty's life was woven with threads of love, kindness, and dedication, reflecting the verse from the Book of Mormon, "Wherefore, be not weary in well-doing, for ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great."

Betty's drive was evident in her professional life, where she excelled as a supply packer for the Department of Defense at the Defense Depot Ogden. Her meticulous nature and persistent efforts earned her numerous performance and achievement awards. In 1993, Betty retired, leaving behind a legacy of diligence and dedication. Though she thrived in her work, Betty's true passion lay in her hobbies. She was an avid bowler, regularly participating in leagues at the Paramount, Hill Top, and Ben Lomond Bowling Alleys, where she proudly won several trophies. She also enjoyed golfing at Riverside and Mt. Ogden and fishing local lakes and rivers. She loved competing with friends and family playing dice and multiple card games.

Betty's greatest joy was her family and friends, who were the cornerstone of her life. She cherished her siblings, nieces and nephews and her love for her canine companions, Beasley and Buffy was well known. She is survived by her siblings, Sharon (Bill)Taylor, Lynn (Julie) Burton. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Vera Burton, and siblings Raymond (Bud) Burton, Carol Broderick Kozy, and Larry Burton.

Betty's life was a beautiful melody of unwavering love, shared joys, and unforgettable memories. Her spirit continues to shine brightly, illuminating the lives of those she loved. We invite you to share your memories and photos of Betty on her memorial page, as each contribution serves to enrich the tapestry of her beautiful life.
