Betty Cassiday Obituary
Betty was born in Midland, Michigan on January 31, 1938, daughter of Mina Ferris and Lester Yaxley. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was an avid reader, card player, and Yahtzee player. She loved to tend to her flowers, bird watching and spending time outdoors by the pool with family. Betty married Edward Cassiday on April 7, 1956.
Betty will be dearly missed by her daughters Lorrie (Greg) Murray and Sheryl (Bill Dolan) Burt, son, Edward "Eddie" Cassiday, son-in-law, Jerry Woods; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cassiday and daughter, Debra Woods. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Schaaf, Compassus Hospice Care and special nurses Lisa and Marge.
