Buck Cassiday Obituary
September 7, 2025. Buck was born on March 3, 1956 in Springfield, the son of James
"Jim" Buchanan Cassiday III and Sharon (Cain) Cassiday Trello. Buck married Linda
(Taft) Cassiday on July 23, 1983.
Buck retired from Springfield Mass Transit District in 2018. He was living his best life in
retirement while tending his flowers, grooming his yard, enjoying archery and fishing, and
laughing with friends and family.
Buck is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife Linda, son Cody (Laura) Cassiday,
daughter Amy Cassiday, mother Sharon Trello, brothers Kelly (Ellen) Cassiday and Matt
(Susan) Cassiday, Andy (Jen) Trello, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Jim Cassiday, and brother Mike Cassiday.
A time of remembrance will be held from 3pm-5pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at
Wilson Park Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street in Rochester.

This is sad news! I have so many great memories of growing up next door to the Cassiday boys! From kool-ade popsicles to skateboards, mini bikes and running for the bus! My condolences and love. Suzi

So very sorry to read of Buck´s passing. The Cassidays and the Discos rode the bus to Plains together for many years. Sincere sympathy to all who were blessed to know and love him.
