Betty Chmura Obituary
Betty Jane Chmura, 91, of Princeton, passed away peacefully on Monday June 16, 2025.
Born and raised in Lawrence Township, NJ, she was a long-time resident of Tinton Falls, NJ prior to moving to Brandywine Serenade at Princeton Assisted Living in 2023. Betty Jane was a homemaker and devoted to raising her children and supporting their education and activities. She was a kind and caring person who touched all who knew her.
Betty Jane is predeceased by her parents George Bailey and Pearl Sell, her husband Stanley Chmura, Jr. who died in 2008, and her sister Jean Akers. She is survived by her son David Chmura and his wife Agnieszka; her daughter Lynne Oleski and her husband Richard; her granddaughter Clara Chmura; her sister Joyce Mooney; and her niece, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Monday June 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors located at 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Burial will be held at St. Hedwigs Cemetery located on Eggerts Crossing Road, Ewing, NJ.
The visitation for Betty Jane will be held on Monday June 23, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Dear Aunt Betty,
You were always kind to me, I never heard you say a bad word about anybody. You had a wonderful laugh and I appreciated the Christmas cards which always arrived no matter where I was or how old I got.
