Betty J. Cramer, 91, of Lancaster, formerly of Strasburg Township, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Willis F., Sr., and Violet M. (Styer) Dabler.
Betty started life in Lancaster City and then moved to Providence Township when she was young. She attended the schoolhouse on Mount Airy Road and went on to graduate from the Southern Lancaster County Joint High School in 1952. Betty made a career of working in accounts payable, first for Charles Chips, and most recently for the Lancaster County Courthouse, retiring with 15 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, especially curtains, and she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Ashlyn.
She is survived by a son, Jeff (Colleen) Cramer, of Quarryville; daughters, Barbara Obetz, of Lancaster, and Jennifer (Shane) Imhoff, of Willow Street; and a granddaughter, Ashlyn Imhoff, of Willow Street. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Willis, Jr., Clyde, and Henry Dabler, sisters, Shirl Dabler and Joanne Rogers, and a son-in-law, Jerry Obetz.
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 20, at Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery, 399 East Penn Grant Road, Willow Street, PA 17584, with Chaplain Mike Derus officiating.
