BETTY JEAN DAVIS

Betty Jean Davis, a beloved resident of Decatur, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on Saturday, May 22nd, 1937, in Atlanta, Georgia, Betty lived a life full of love, dedication, and resilience. Betty dedicated many years to her work on the assembly line, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm personality. Her colleagues admired her commitment and her ability to bring positivity to those she worked with. Outside of her professional life, Betty was a cherished member of her community and a devoted friend. Her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Rainbow Park Baptist Church in Decatur, Georgia, on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, allowing friends and family to pay their respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. A Celebration of Life service will take place at Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Georgia, on Friday, October 3rd, 2025, at 1:00 PM, honoring Betty's enduring spirit and the love she shared with those around her. Following the service, Betty will be peacefully laid to rest at Carver Memorial Gardens in Jonesboro, Georgia. Her family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all who have offered support and condolences during this difficult time. Arrangements have been lovingly handled by Gregory B.
