Betty Lane Eubanks, age 74, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in Mobile, AL. She was the youngest daughter born to Florence Geiger and Frank Lane on September 10, 1948. She graduated from Convent of Mercy and attended the University of South Alabama. She would go on to work for the University of South Alabama's Department of Physics. She was a member of Ladies AGLOW Ministry and attended Our Savior Catholic Church. Reading, journaling, entertaining friends and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and family were among her greatest passions.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Richard McVay Eubanks.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Whitney Eubanks Vittor of Mobile, AL, her husband Barry Vittor and their daughters, Roselin, Amelia, and Kate; daughter, Paige Eubanks - Barrow of Baton Rouge, LA, her husband John Barrow and their son James; sister, Beverly Lane Thorpe of Atlanta, GA and her children Lindsey Kallos, and Damon Marbut and their extended family; sister, Bonnie Lane Seibert of Mobile, AL and her son Joshua Seibert; sister, Mary Anne Moeller of Anchorage, AK and her husband Bill Moeller; nephew, Chad Evans of Butler, AL and his wife Casey Evans.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Father David, priest of Our Savior Catholic Church officiating. Also, a 5:00 PM Mass will be co-dedicated to Betty at Our Savior Catholic Church.
