Betty Faye Ewing

Betty Faye Ewing, age 90, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on January 1, 2026. She was born on February 11, 1935, in Clarksville, Texas to Bessie Marie and Glendon Edwards.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her home, sewing, reading books and anything to do with music. Her family would describe her as a very creative, funny, and colorful person, who was brilliant beyond words.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband Gilbert Ewing; three children, Barry Ewing, Theresa Ewing and Stacy Ewing; one grandson, Justin Ewing; one brother and one sister.

Left to cherish Betty's memory is her daughter-in-law, June Ewing; one son, Harold and wife Cindy Ewing; three grandchildren, Jordan Ewing, Joel and wife Sarah Wright, and Amanda Wright; four great-grandchildren, Hayden, Barrett, Ginger and Zachary; and one sister, Sue Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to be made to Opportunities Inc., 6101 N. State Line, Texarkana, Texas 75503.

A graveside service will take place at 10 A.M. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Chapelwood Funeral Home in Nash, Texas.
