Donna Ewing Obituary
Pratt - Donna Lou Ewing, 88, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026 at her home. She was born on March 23, 1937 in Herington to Henry and Mollie Brunner. Donna married Junior Ewing on August 31, 1958 in Herington. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2023.
Donna graduated from Herington High School in 1955. She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Gilliland and Dr. Dozier. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she loved teaching religious education. She also taught at Herington prior to coming to Pratt. She is a former member of Bethany Guild, Pilot Club, and Red Hat Society. She volunteered at Pratt Regional Medical Center and Meals On Wheels. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, cross stitching, teaching, volunteering at the Hospital, walking at the park and her beloved pets.
She is survived by her children, Shawn (Tina) Ewing of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Shelley Ewing (Carol Brennan) of Fort Worth, Texas and Shannon (Mark) Wichman of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Whitney Ewing of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Derrick (Victoria) Ewing of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, John Brennan of Fort Worth, Texas, Joseph Brennan of Fort Worth, Texas, James Brennan of Fort Worth, Texas, Anthony (Erica) Wichman of Lenexa, Joshua (Michaela) Wichman of Manhattan and Molly (Matthew) Fortier of Kansas City, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Mason Fortier, Connor Fortier, Cody Fortier, Dawson Ewing, Violet Ewing, Colt Wichman, Scout Wichman and Ivy Wichman.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior Ewing; and siblings, Freida Wentland, Leona Wentland, Loreen Walker, Edith Osborn, Norma Olsen, Bernita Hickey, Elmer Brunner, Maynard Brunner and Duane Brunner.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Preston with Pastor Michael Schotte presiding. Inurnment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Preston.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Interim Hospice. Online condolences may be made at www.larrisonmortuary.com.

My mind just filled up with so so many wonderful memories. As children Aunt Donna was a constant in our lives, as well as Shelley, Shannon and Shawn. I'm heartbroken for your loss.
