Barbara’s life began February 18, 1955, in Herington. She was the daughter Donald and Donna (Oesterreich) Jacobs. Barbara was a 1973 graduate of Herington High School. She had worked as a school bus aid in Herington Schools and various jobs in the service industry. Barbara loved her Lord and Savior Jesus with all her heart and shared her love of Him with all those around her. Her grandchildren were especially loved and cared for by Barbara. Barbara enjoyed sewing and making and sending care packages around the world to her son’s when they were deployed in the United States Army. She is survived by her children Grant Skinner of Colorado, Mark (Maria Teresa Ang Little) Little of Norman, Ok, Christine (Nathan) Ross of Wichita; grandchildren Derek Little, Josiah Little, Isaiah Ross, Jayden Williams, Danielle Little, Stella Dalme, and Anabella Ross; brothers Steven Jacobs of Salina and Gary (Shelly) Jacobs of Woodward, OK and several nieces and nephews. Barbara passed away at her home on Saturday January 24 ,2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, son David Dalme, and two brothers Larry and James Jacobs. Her family will gather with friends on Saturday February 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. for her memorial service at Yazel Megli Funeral Home, Herington. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
