Betty Jean Frezza

Betty Jean Frezza, of Sterling Heights, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023 at the age of 85. Betty is the cherished wife of Jerry; the loving mother of Michael Frezza, Michelle (Kirk) Schwan, and Susan Bentley; the adored grandmother of Melissa (Brandon) Schwan Murdoch, Lauren Frezza, and Blair Frezza.
Betty touched the lives of everyone she met. Her smile brightened the room, and her joyfulness and playfulness could be felt by others. If you had the gift of meeting her you instantly felt as though you had been friends for years; She made you feel that special.
Betty was the heart and soul of her family. She raised her family with her deeply rooted faith at the forefront, and her strong Christian heart was evident to all she met.
Her family was her priority. She was loving and supportive. She adored her grandchildren and was a wonderful grandmother. Her favorite moments were spending time with family and friends, sharing food, laughter and love.
Betty was an accomplished residential real estate agent and manager for many years. She was highly respected within her field.
To celebrate Betty's life, her family is encouraging everyone to wear bright colors to the visitation and services (yellow was her favorite color.) However black is also appropriate for it was one of her favorite colors as well.
Visitation will start on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke), Utica. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Church, 35955 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights.
