Betty Glentzer Obituary
She was born on February 2, 1927 to Elwood and Esther (Hileman) Cypher in New Kensington, PA.
Betty worked as a registered nurse for Allegheny General Hospital.
Surviving are two daughters, Christie Jewell and Esther Locke; two sons, Michael and Douglas Glentzer; grandchildren, John Jewell, Betty Mae Blackwell, Tiffany George, William Jewell, Michael D. Glentzer, Douglas Locke, James Jewell, Mark J. Glentzer, Sarah Lehrmann, John M. Glentzer; and great-grandchildren, Jessica Jewell, Taylor and Madison George, Keifer Blackwell, Layla and Charlotte Locke, Jack, Haley, and Adeline Lehrmann.
She was preceded in death her parents; husband, John M. Glentzer, Jr., and two sons, John E. and Mark Glentzer.
As per Betty's wishes, there will be no public funeral services. The Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., Rural Valley, has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
