Betty Stephens Gray

Betty Stephens Gray, born May 23, 1945, in Linden, TN, to the late Waymon R. Stephens and Alice Hinson Stephens, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 80. Betty worked in the life and health insurance business for 50 years and was a dedicated member of Antioch United Methodist Church in Leoma, TN. She had a love for collecting antiques and will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and outgoing nature. She is survived by her son, Eric Easterling of Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter China Easterling; brother, George (GW) Stephens and wife Jane of Clarksville, TN; nieces, Stephanie Stephens of Clarksville, TN, Bendee Bess of Dickson, TN, and Mary Kay Bauer of Wyandotte, MI; great-nephews, Raymond and Earl Bauer of Wyandotte, MI, Tyler Mayes of Clarksville, TN, and Evan Bess of Nashville, TN; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Tony and Randall Seiber; daughter, Renee Gray Smith; brother, Davis Hensley; and sister, Irene Prieur. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at McDonald Funeral Home in Hohenwald, TN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Martha Davison officiating, with burial to follow in the Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
