Betty J. Herdt, age 95, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born November 18, 1929 in Jeffersonville, IN to the late Samuel and Dorothy Hebner.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Herdt.
She is survived by her children, Penny (Phil) Burns, Steve (Chris) Herdt, and Teri (Tom) Hill; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Betty enjoyed crocheting, traveling, especially annual vacation trips to Cancun, and spending time with her family.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Memories of Betty and messages of support for the family can be shared at www.ScottFuneralHome.com.
