Betty Inez Perry Heuring went to her heavenly home on June 5, 2024, while residing at Roselane Health Center in Marietta, GA. She was born to William and Clytee Perry on February 22, 1932, in Wilson, AR. Betty will be fondly remembered by staff and residents at Roselane, where she made many friends.
Betty moved to Scott City, MO as a young girl and attended school there. She married Barney Heuring on June 9, 1948. She was a long time employee of Southeast Hospital, a place she often referred to as her second home. In 2016 she moved to Georgia to her daughter's home.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Pete, Don and Billy Dean; and a daughter, Shirley Seabaugh. She is survived by four children; a daughter,,Carolyn Trice (Fred) of GA; sons David (Judy) Heuring, Florissant, MO; John Heuring, Newtown, PA; and Tim Heuring, St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren; Kristen Seabaugh, Deanna Heuring, Brett Heuring, and Damien Heuring, all of MO; and seven great grandchildren; A niece and nephew from the Perry side, Marcia Hane, AZ.; and Dale Perry, FL; and many nieces and nephews on the Heuring side.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 19, from 11-1 at Amick Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm..
Burial will be in Cape Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity in her name.

To all of Betty´s family, I am sending my sympathy and prayers. She was a great lady, a fearless worker and the best patient giver, bar none! You could always trust her to give her best and to listen to her findings. I have many fond memories of working with her at Southeast Hospital. May she rest in peace.
