Joseph Dumey, son of the late Fredrick Dumey and Wilma (Taylor) Dumey was born on December 20, 1944 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed his life on Monday, November 10, 2025 at The Lutheran home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 80 years.
Mr. Dumey was a former resident of Illinois and recently residing in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph (Tabitha) Dumey of Benton, Missouri and Rob Dumey of McMinnville, Oregon; two daughters, Angie Camp of Jerseyville, Illinois and Laura Thomae of Bunker Hill, Illinois; one granddaughter, McKayla Dumey; three brothers, Dennis Dumey, Steve Dumey, and Bob Dumey; six sisters, Judy Kelly, Maria Pace, Mickey Conner, Betty Schobernd, Cheri Platt, and Jane Farag; also, by other relatives and friends.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Dumey; one granddaughter, Megan Dumey.
Celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
