Betty Jean (Stevenson) Intner passed away October 18th, 2025 in Mesa, Arizona.
Born January 10th, 1930 to Opal (Twilegar) and Albert Stevenson in Lewiston, Idaho. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard Intner, her brother Darrel and her son Michael Brassfield.
She grew up in Boise, Idaho and married William Brassfield who passed away in 1968. She later met and married the love of her life, Leonard Intner of New York City. They loved to travel and lived in Reno, Sacramento, Denver and settled in Mesa, Arizona.
Despite being very outdoorsy and an angler, She was a very poised and beautiful woman. You rarely saw her without her makeup and hair done. Always wearing Estee Lauder Cinnabar. She taught all the grandkids how to bait a hook and clean a fish.
Betty was a true Matriarch of her family. She is survived by her loving family: her daughter Vickie (Bob), sister Sharon (Howard) Jenkins and Brother Edward (Marolane), her 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was very creative and was an excellent painter and seamstress. She made Christmas pajamas for all of her Great Grandchildren who affectionately called her GG. Among her many talents, another was cooking and baking.
She lived a long and fulfilling life up until a couple of years ago when dementia slowly creeped in. She left behind countless memories and traditions. She will be deeply missed.
Services to be held at a later date yet determined. In lieu of flowers the family asks to donate to americanglaucomasociety.net
