Betty Lee Knowles, of Lake Zurich, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the age of 95.
She was born July 19, 1930 in Table Grove, IL, the daughter of the late Delbert and Geraldine (nee Berry) Heidenreich.
Betty attended Western Illinois University and worked as a secretary for a chiropractor. She enjoyed spending time reading and being with her family.
Betty is survived by her children, Judy Cox, Tom Knowles, Terry Knowles, and Jim Knowles; her grandchildren, Jennifer Werthman, Jeffery Head, Daniel Head, Erin Olney, Kevin Knowles, and Dylan Knowles; her great-grandchildren, Kade Olney, Michael Huglemeyer, Koralyn Olney, and Keslee Olney; and her siblings, Gordon Heidenreich and Vera Gable.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Barbara Heidenreich, Paul Heidenreich, Elaine Knowles, and Dean Heidenreich.
Services for Betty will be held privately for her family.
