Betty Frances Leverett

Betty Frances Leverett, 92, of Bronwood/Parrott GA, passed away December 18, 2024. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Beulah Primitive Baptist Church in Terrell County, GA. Elder Barry Marshall will officiate. Interment will follow in The Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Leverett was born on May 28, 1932 in Terrell County, GA to Andrew Jackson Fogarty and Tinsiee Eaton Fogarty. She was raised on a farm in the Parrott, GA area and graduated from Parrott High School. 

Mrs. Leverett met Grady Leverett and they married May 26, 1949. They farmed together, while raising their family in Webster and Terrell Counties. She was a homemaker and also worked seasonally at Cinderella Peanut Company and Almark Mills. Mrs. Leverett was a member of Beulah Primitive Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Leverett loved to read. She loved plants and flowers and all things nature that came with it. Mrs. Leverett especially enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing with everyone her five generations. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Malcom Leverett in 2013. 

Survivors include her children, Belinda (Dan) Farmer of Albany, GA and Grady Leverett, Jr. of Parrott, GA., her grandchildren, Britt Farmer of Parrott, GA, Amy F. (Alan) Williams of Oakfield, GA and Blake Farmer of Leesburg GA, her great-grandchildren, Cohl Williams of Leesburg GA, Chase (Alex) Williams of Tifton, GA, Hannah Farmer of Americus, GA, Lila Childre of Tifton, GA, Taylor Childre of Leesburg, GA and Hayden Farmer of Albany, GA and her great-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Theo.

The family will receive friends Sunday at the church before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. 

Flowers will be accepted. Those desiring may make memorials in memory of Mrs. Leverett to Beulah Primitive Baptist Church, 151 Hardwood Lane, Albany, GA, 31707.
