Mrs. Betty Lou Hershberger Mast, age 89, a former resident of Logan County, KY passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025 surrounded by her family in Simpson County, KY.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Providence Mennonite Fellowship at 23 Doug Brazzell Rd Auburn, KY 42206. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Providence Mennonite Fellowship with interment to follow in Franklin Mennonite Church Cemetery in Simpson County, KY.
Betty Lou was born on April 16, 1935 in Meyersdale, PA to the late Joe and Sadie Hershberger. She is also preceded in death by her oldest son, Jonathan Mast and his first wife, Margaret Mast; infant granddaughter, Mary Lee Weaver; and three siblings.
Mrs. Mast is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Walter Mast, of Fort Shaw, MT; seven children, Darrell and Debbie Mast of Russellville, KY, Karen and Joel Hostetler of Oskaloosa, KS, Brenda and David Yoder of Auburn, KY, Lois and Phil Yutzy of Canon City, Co, David and Gloria Mast of Fairview, UT, Anne and Glen Weaver of Fort Shaw, MT, and Carol and Duane Weaver of Vaughn, MT; fifty four grandchildren, ninety great-grandchildren, and one daughter in-law, Frieda Mast.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Betty's memory to Hospice of Southern KY : 5872 Scottsville, Rd Bowling Green, KY 42104.
