Peacefully on February 25, 2024, Betty Jean McAlexander née Fittro passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Walter McAlexander; loving mother of Michael, Michelle (Todd), and Martin (Laura); cherished grandmother of Michael (Stacey), Patrick (Megan), Joshua (Zack), Jonathan (Colleen), Dennis (Amanda), Samantha (Luke), Melissa (Camyrn) and Bryan (Courtney); and great grandmother of Tyler, Abigail, Benjamin, Jenna, Makayla, Hunter, Andrew, Sophia, Natalie, Chase, Caroline, Lawson and Olivia.
Family members and friends may call at Ambrose Funeral Home, 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Halethorpe, Maryland 21227 on Saturday, March 2nd from 3 - 4:30PM where a funeral service will be held following the viewing at 4:30pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Betty Jean's memory to help in reopening First Baptist Church of Lansdowne, made payable to First Baptist Church of Lansdowne. The church's address is 2320 Alma Road, Lansdowne, MD 21227.
