Betty Merchant Obituary
Betty Jeane Merchant, 89, of DeRidder, LA passed Sunday, October 5, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, October 10 from 12pm-2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, October 10 at 2pm at Chaddick Funeral Home. Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery. Rev. Alvin Peters, Sr. will officiate.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Lana Brown & Larry Joe of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Laci Joe Brown of DeRidder, LA and Larry Lynn Brown of DeRidder, LA; great-grandchildren, Shylynn Tyler, Tripp Clemons, and River Rain Evans; brother, Ronnie Mack Redmond & Susan of Lucedale, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
She is preceded in death by husband of 66 years, Everett Merchant; parents, Mack Lewin & Zilla Bush Redmond; son, Randal Merchant; brother, Triston Redmond; and infant sister, Bobbie Lewin Redmond.
