Betty Louise Miner, 81, of Bowdon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. She was born on December 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Perley Clyde Miner and Maude Stewart Miner.
Louise "Weese" loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to church, quilting, and playing Scrabble. Louise was a beloved registered nurse. Throughout her career as a nurse, Louise demonstrated compassion and dedication to her patients. In addition to her nursing career, she had a love for music. She found joy in playing the piano and singing with those around her. Louise leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and an unwavering love
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Bonnie Gowins and Margaret Hinnant.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Libby Smith of Bremen, Andrew and Tara Smith of Bowdon, and Benjamin Smith and Katie Giacinto of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren, Daisy Pacheco (Eric) of Temple, Keegan Smith of Cedartown, Rebekah Smith of Bowdon, Jonathan Smith of Bremen, Cameron Smith and Rylee Smith both of Charleston, South Carolina; great-grandchild, Eliza Pacheco; nieces Rose Marie Hinnant of Sylvania, Georgia, Lynn Ennis of Sanford, North Carolina; nephew, Gary Hinnant of Augusta, Georgia; many other nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family will celebrate her life at a later date in Martinez, Georgia and inurnment in Milan, Georgia.
