Pamela Jane Messel Evans

Pamela Jane Messel Evans, 61, of Villa Rica, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born on December 6, 1963, the daughter of the late Raymond Lee Messel and the late Annie Inez Wright Messel.
Pamela loved her family and she cherished every moment spent with them. She was always willing to help those who needed it the most. She was always kind and she was an advocate for people with HIV and AIDS. Pamela enjoyed coloring, drawing, thrifting, watching movies and listening to Southern Rock music, particularly Queen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grand-daughter, Olivia Michael; sisters, Sherri Ann Messel Davis and Linda Shepherd.
She is survived by her children, Brandis Evans (Eddie Love) of Villa Rica, Jessica Smith (Damon Smith) of Waco; Gary Wayne Evans, Jr. of Villa Rica, and bonus son Jamie Moseman of Dallas; sister, Jeannie Toadvine of Ohio; brothers, Kenneth Messel of Villa Rica, Mike Messel of Villa Rica, and Chris Messel (Aletha) of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Emily Doerr, Raven Sellers, and Olivia Smith; great-grandchild, Douglas Sligh; best friend, Karen Collins of Villa Rica; life partner, Charles Eason of Villa Rica; numerous extended family members and friends.
Pamela will be missed, but her spirit will live on in the lives of her children and their children.
The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date.
