Betty Mae Oiler, 53, of Vinton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2025, in the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. Betty was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, September 1, 1972, daughter of the late Thurman Elsworth and Juanita (Bowen) Oiler.
Betty will be missed by her sisters, Teresa Oiler, East Lynn, West Virginia; Stephanie (Jody) Viars, Gallipolis, Ohio; Rebecca Oiler and Jaime (Len) Woodard, all of East Lynn, West Virginia; nephews: Christian (Danielle) Viars, Christopher Viars, Billy (Misti) Dillon, Wil Dillon, Andy Woodard, Samson Dillon and nieces: Danielle Queen, Jessica (Jared) Jack, Carrollyn (Scott) Woodard and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 20, 2025, in the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, Wetherholt Chapel, Gallipolis, Ohio with Rev. Steven Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Ellis Family Cemetery, Vinton, Ohio. Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday 12:00-1:00 PM.
