Joe Allen Oiler, 79, of New Castle, VA, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus on September 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Richard Oiler and Eunice Oiler Bush; brothers, Frank Oiler (Iris), Mac Oiler, Robert Oiler (Eloise), Harold Gene Oiler (Donna), James C. Oiler, and Donald Oiler; sisters, Roberta (Bob) Hackney and Patsy Gibson; mother & father-in-law, Helen & Ashby Crawford; sister & brother-in-law, Louise & Mack Obenchain. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda Crawford Oiler; his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Rick Davis; grandchildren, Luther, Anthea, and Alfred Davis; sisters-in-law, Nancy Ellett (Rick), Earline Oiler, and Mary Oiler; brother-in-law, Roger Gibson; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Joe worked in construction for companies Q.M. Tomlinson, Campbell Construction, and R.L. Price. He was a faithful member of Paxton Chapel Church for 58 years. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Paitsel Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crawford Memorial at Paxton Chapel Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service 1-2 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Paxton Chapel Church, PO Box 751 New Castle, VA 24127.
