Betty Malaine Reddick, 95, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at her residence in Phenix City, Alabama. She was surrounded by all her family and lots of love in her final days. She was born on June 23, 1930, in Jackson County Georgia. She made her home in Albany Georgia and retired from Westover High School in Albany, Georgia around 1990. She left a lasting impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Annie Lee Tanner; her husband, Douglas Snider; her long-time companion, Richard Hunter; her sister, Vivian Mathews; and her brother, Otis Tanner.

A loving mother and grandmother, Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Snider Jr. and Michelle Snider of Marietta, GA, and her daughter, Susan Snider (Jamie Massey) of Fortson, GA.
