Betty Ann (Alexander) Redepenning was born in Lyon County on 7/21/31. As a child, they moved from farm to farm in many different areas but eventually moved to the Madison, MN area where she met the love of her life, Bud Redepenning. They were married on 04/18/50 and eventually moved to Anoka, MN where she remained the rest of her life. At the age of 94, she passed away on 2/5/2026 at The Homestead in Anoka. She was preceded in death by a great number of family and friends. She lost her beloved husband in 2019, both her parents, all her siblings and many in-laws. She is survived by her three children Darrel (Donna) Redepenning, Deb Redepenning, Joleen (Paul) Connoy, grandchildren Rob (Sara) Redepenning, Michael Redepenning, Ryan (Meghan) Connoy, Megan (Mark) Oelrich, great grandchildren Tommy Redepenning, Alison Redepenning, Caden Connoy, Kennedy Connoy, Olive Oelrich and Oskar Oelrich, 3 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many friends at The Homestead. Over the years, she and Bud enjoyed traveling, both in the United States and in Europe. They also enjoyed all their years with the American Legion, Betty as a past Unit President and Bub as a Past Department Commander. Her son continued to take her to many Legion events so she could spend time with all her Legion friends. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM on Friday 2/20/26 at St Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson Street, Anoka, followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. A luncheon and celebration of life will follow at the Anoka American Legion at 400 W Main St, Anoka. Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband Bud at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
