Betty Louise Robertson, age 87 of Morgantown, KY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Born on April 5, 1938, in Butler County, Kentucky, Betty's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of her spirit.
Betty was the daughter of Earl and Golda Casey and her adoptive parents Christopher and Dessie Snodgrass. Her journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, Earl Edwin Robertson, until his passing, they married September 23, 1957. Together, they created a legacy of love and commitment that continued to flourish through their family and community.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings Clayton C., Leonard, Royal Casey, Orval, Otha, and Oral Snodgrass, as well as her sisters Maggie Kessinger and Oval Coots, Betty's memory will be forever honored by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her daughters, Vonda Flores (Allen) of Morgantown, KY, and Karen Dacanay of Chicago, IL. Her grandchildren, Alec Flores of Morgantown, KY, and Samuel and Kaitlin Dacanay of Chicago, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
Betty's life was marked by her unwavering faith and active membership at Barnett's Lick Missionary Baptist Church, where she found great solace and community. A woman of many interests, Betty found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She treasured the time spent with her late husband, Ed, and their shared passion for canning, which was a testament to her love for nurturing and providing for her family.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Isiah Evans Cemetery Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 1:00pm with Bro.Chad Bewley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Isiah Evans Cemetery Fund 6861 Caneyville Road Morgantown, KY 42261.
