Travis Dewayne Cook, age 44 of Morgantown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at his residence in Morgantown, Kentucky. Born on Wednesday, July 29, 1981, in Madisonville, Kentucky, Travis was a man whose presence brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Travis was preceded in death by his loving parents, David W. and Carnellia Gail Rector Cook, as well as his grandparents, Frank Rector, Daisy Gipson, Opal Cook, and John Cook. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of those he leaves behind, including his devoted wife of eight years, Sandy Cook, and his beloved son, Whitley Fleming, both of Morgantown, KY. He will also be deeply missed by his siblings, Shannon Johnson of Clay, KY, and Matthew Cook of Radcliff, KY; his nephews, Austin Johnson of Beechmont, KY, and Liam Johnson of Belton, KY; his niece, Laura Johnson of Belton, KY; his special cousin, Carl Hogan of Madisonville, KY; his aunt, Sherry Rector of Nortonville, KY; and his special friends, Todd and Tiffany Williams of Morgantown, KY, along with numerous cousins.
Travis was a dedicated employee at Shop HQ in Bowling Green, KY, where he worked in security. He enjoyed playing chess and collecting skull memorabilia, watching wrestling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
