Marilyn E. Warren

Marilyn Moore Warren, age 77 of Morgantown, KY passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. She was born on Monday, August 9, 1948 in Butler County, KY to the late Oakland Moore and Evelyn Irene Jenkins Moore. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters Sharon Moore, Sandy Stevens and Rhonda Moore and two brothers Michael Moore and Gene Moore. Marilyn found joy in the simple moments spent with those she loved. Her legacy of love and grace will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her love will continue to surround and guide them always. Marilyn enjoyed shopping, drinking coffee, working in her flowers, gardening and she loved animals.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of 53 years Billy Warren of Morgantown, KY ; her beloved daughter, Stacy Warren Edmonson (Marty) of Owensboro, KY, the light of her life, and her grandson Sloan Edmonson of Owensboro, KY, whom she was endlessly proud of and who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her sister Deborah Moore of Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Monday, October 6, 2025 at 1:00pm with Bro. Raleigh Blancett officiating. Burial will be in the Warren's Mill Cemetery where her family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10:00am until funeral time at 1:00pm at the Jones Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Butler County Animal Shelter P.O.
