Betty Corbin Sisto

Betty C. Sisto of Waverly, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born to Hewlett Allyn and Hazel (Kilmer) Corbin on February 17, 1926 in Potterville, PA. She graduated from LeRaysville High School in 1944. Betty was a beautician for many years in the valley and Corning, NY before operating several businesses with her husband. She enjoyed playing golf, reading, journaling, baking and watching reality TV shows. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Louis P. Sisto, Sr in 1980, son Louis P. Sisto, Jr., sister and brother-in-law Maxine and Carlton Jones and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Christine and Roger Boice. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Angelo and Michele Sisto of Waverly, NY and daughter and son-in-law, Mary and David Black of Apex, NC. Also her grandchildren, Christopher (Pada) Sisto of Waverly, NY, Michelle Brownfeld of Fla, Jennifer (Rory) Keane of Holly Springs, NC, Melissa (Scott) McCormick of Holly Springs, NC, Michael (Gwen) Sisto of Waverly, NY, and Maria (Kevin) Gorman of Athens, Pa. In addition, she is survived by great-grandchildren Capri, Bexley and Lincoln Sisto; Aiden and Owen Keane; Noah and Reese McCormick; Jacob and Tyler Ropp and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany, South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, PA. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Waverly, NY

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sayre Public Library.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Luckner Funeral Home, Waverly, NY.
