Betty C. Smith, 62, of Tyronza, Arkansas departed this life surrounded by her loved ones on July 17, 2024, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on March 17, 1962, in West Memphis, Arkansas to Charles E. Criswell and Betty Taylor Guzman. For many years she attended Revival Center Church in Lepanto, Arkansas and enjoyed drawing, arts, crafts, playing with her dogs, and spending time with her babies. Her most cherished time was spent with her family.
She is preceded by her parents, and one brother: James Criswell.
Betty is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years: Tommy Joe Smith of Tyronza, three children: Kelley Susann (Clint) of Tyronza, Arkansas, T.J. Smith (Michele) of Lepanto, Arkansas, and Kristy Graves (Tony) of Marion, Arkansas, one brother: Charles Allen Criswell (Pat) of Maurice, Louisiana, three sisters: Linda Moore (Teddy) of Piggot, Arkansas, Nancy Criswell of Lake Luzerne, New York, Fina Guzman of Monte Alto, Texas, ten grandchildren: Elliana, Maxton, Landon, Abigail, Oakleigh, Brody, Raylen, Presleigh, Jake (Katelyn), Brooklyn Paige (Brennon.) three great grandchildren: Zoee, Josie, Blakelee and her three dogs: Lucky, Piper and Moo Moo.
A funeral service will be held at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. and visitation will be held from 11:30 until service time.
Interment will follow service in Tyronza Cemetery, Tyronza, Arkansas.
Brother Dewayne Johnson and Brother Daniel Nooner will officiate the service.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
