Cassa Smith Obituary
Cassa Beck Smith, 89, of North Wilkesboro and formerly of State Road, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Wilkesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born January 31, 1937, in Surry County to Everette and Clemmie Kirkman Beck, Cassa dedicated many years of service at CenturyLink before retiring. She was a member of Jonesville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Cassa enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, sewing, collecting antiques, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Donna Pack Wilkins, and her brother Donald Ray Beck. Left to cherish her memory are her son Ronald Pack and Lynn of Elkin; grandchildren Ashley Pack Gutowski, Aaron Pack and Lauren, Danielle Pack Edwards and Kiley; and great-grandchildren Brayden Gutowski and Lennon Pack.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.
