Betty Walker Obituary
Betty Walker, 76, of Enfield, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024. She was born on July 19, 1947, in Tyronza, Arkansas, the daughter of J.B. and Estelle (Smithey) Hall. Betty married Phillip Edward Walker on July 16, 1966, and he survives. She enjoyed country western dancing, and listening to all kinds of music. Most of all, Betty enjoyed caring for her children and granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Phillip Walker of Enfield, IL, Betty is survived by her children, Phil (Paula) Walker Jr. of McLeansboro, IL. and Jim (Sara) Walker of Omaha, IL; one grandchild, Katie (Christopher) Peters of McLeansboro, IL; one great-grandchild, Jackson Paul Peters; siblings, Ruby Crawford of Jonesboro, AR, and Donna Hall of Naples, FL. She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jim Hall, David Hall, Richard Hall and Mary Dormer.
Funeral services for Betty Walker will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Betty's memory to the White County Senior Citizens and will be accepted at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield who is in charge of arrangements.
