Patrick E. Vaughan, 29, of Enfield passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 in Pontiac, IL. He was born in Harlan, KY on March 10, 1996 the son of Doug Vaughan and Misty Kincaid. Patrick married Desiree Vaughan on December 23, 2020. He had worked in the oil field and enjoyed being outdoors, camping, fishing, playing the harmonica, and hunting ginseng.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Desiree; his parents, Misty Kincaid of Elizabethtown, IL and Doug Vaughan of Waukegan, IL; grandparents, Judy and Harvey Winters; siblings, Robert Hutchinson, Raya Hutchinson, Patrisha Hutchinson, Rachel Hutchinson, Melanie Downen, Stephanie Whittington and Faith Whittington; a special cousin, Cameron Kincaid; nieces, Madison, Morganna, Mia, and Rainlynn; and nephews, Jack and Tucker.
He is preceded in death by his son, Atlas G. Vaughan and his nephew, Hunter L. Haws.
Patrick had a love for writing and here are some of his last words he wrote to remember him by.

I see her most night's in my dreams
when I see her it's like a beam through the heart
it stops beating and don't know how to start
Services for Patrick E. Vaughan will be private. Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield is assisting the family with arrangements.
