Betty Weldon Obituary
Betty Joyce Horne Folds Weldon, 78, of Moultrie, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Hopewell Church Cemetery with Reverend Julian Griner officiating.
Born September 13, 1947, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Aldine Clinton Horne and Lucille Bachelor Horne. Mrs. Weldon was retired from Colquitt Regional Medical Center as a LPN and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouses, Freddie Folds and Joseph Weldon; and her son, Fredrick Maverick Folds.
Mrs. Weldon is survived by her daughters, Cindy Todd Willis and husband Michael Todd of Moultrie and Lalana Weldon of Moultrie; grandchildren, Shena Todd and partner William Tucker, Levi Todd, Autumn Roberts, Kerra Henderson and partner Logan Tillery, and Isaiah Henderson and wife Alyssa; great grandchildren, Jayden Mims, Jayleigh Mims, Liam Tucker, Ansleigh Tucker, Jadyance Todd, Penelope Boyd, Bella Tillery, Owen Tillery, Christian Henderson, and Jasper Henderson; brothers, Charles Horne and wife Donna of Moultrie; and sisters, Dorothy Crouch of Adel, Syble Berry and husband Harold of Albany, and Shirley Dean and husband Ted of Moultrie.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Weldon on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 and Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
