I was sad to hear of Betty´s passing. This is a favorite photo of her and Dad. She was always welcoming when we came to visit and likely to have something for us to help with. She was so special to our Dad and made his last years happy. Rest well, Betty.

I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing! She will always have a place in my heart as she was not only my neighbor when I lived out on our family ranch (the Mckenna Ranch) but soon became a close friend. We worked on broken waterlines together that ran on our ranch borders especially along the Cucharas River and spent many hours laughing about our trials and tribulations. We spent many New Year's Eves together bringing in the New Year sharing many stories between us all especially with she and Jack. I loved her independence and admired her spunk in ranching. She and I shared so many of the same traits and I loved what I could learn from her. I know God has a special angel in heaven with him now and that she and Jack are spinning some tales for them all!

This is a picture I took of Betty and Dad at the cabin for the set of the Conagher film on the ranch. She said her chickens (that had landed coveted roles in the film) were movie stars :) I was nice seeing my dad happy, and so wonderful to get to know Betty. She was always so kind to me and always made me know that me and my kids were welcome. I tried to stop and see her as much as I could. What a life she lived. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
