Betty Lee Wilson

Betty Lee (nee Jones) Wilson (Salisbury, MD) quietly passed into eternity on the 14th of October, 2025 at the age of 99 years old, she was at the home of her care-givers, daughter and son-in-law Donna and Jeff Lane of Hayes, VA. Betty was the wife of the late Gerald H. Wilson, the daughter of the late R. Frank & Virginia (nee Dryden) Jones of Public Landing, MD.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Gerald, her daughter Janet Virginia Royals, her sons David Charles Wilson and John Franklin Wilson, and her granddaughter Kimberly Anne Wright.
Betty is survived by her children: Gere (Dianne) Wilson of Pocomoke, MD, Donna (Jeff) Lane of Hayes, VA, and Shirley Wood of Salisbury, MD, as well as 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-greats.
Funeral & burial services will be held at 2pm on the 26th of October, 2025 at Makemie Memorial Presbyterian Church, 103 W. Market St., Snow Hill, MD. Visitation will be held prior to from 1-2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to Hospice or to Makemie Memorial Presbyterian Church's "Gerald Wilson Benevolence Fund" (for the needy). Letters of condolence can be sent to the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home.
